Does Brainery need internet?

Solo puzzles are offline-first — they run on your device with no connection. The optional Live Friend Race mode needs internet, because it plays in real time against a friend.

What is Live Friend Race?

An optional real-time 1-v-1 race you start by hosting or joining with a private room code shared with a friend. There is no account, no chat, and no public matchmaking — you only ever connect to a friend you share a code with. If you hit a Live issue, include your device, Android version, network type (Wi-Fi or mobile data), whether you hosted or joined, and what happened.

Ads or paid hints?

No ads, in-app purchases, or paid hints in v1.
